I am working on my first VS package and running into an undefined attribute when compiling the vsct file. My short term goal is to place a new menu item on the context menu of database tables in server explorer. Running the initial project puts the
menu item on the tools menu. I can move it to the project context menu in solution explorer by changing the group parent id from IDM_VX_MENU_TOOLS to IDM_VS_CTXT_PROJNODE. Using the VSCT power toy shows me the id for a database table in server explorer is
IDMX_DV_OBJECT_NODE. When I try to set the parent group id to this I get a compile error saying the attribute is not defined. I searched through the .h files in the sdk directory and could not find this defined in any of them. Where is this value defined?
Is this the correct approach? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
