Is there a way to keep an experimental hive opened?

Hi, I'm  developing a VSPackage and every time I press F5 it starts a new hive, which takes quite a while. About 10 seconds. 

Is there any way at all that I could keep the instance open and "re-register" the updated VsPackage, maybe only have it load the updated symbols and .dlls and attach a debugger?
