Hello everybody,

By reading an error message telling me my Git repository was not linked to a distant one, I realized I had to write a script to generate it.

Yesterday I obtained something that worked, I just had to remove the lines related to origin in the config file of the local repository. But then I wanted to avoid generating them, and since i modified my script I am unable to get it working properly again, although I printed it when it worked. Wonder whether there were any updates during the day ?

While searching the error messages on Internet I could progress, and one of these error messages had only one exact match, and it was in the Visual Studio support, where it was said that the problem has been solved with version 3 of Visual Studio 2017. I have it with version 4, do you think I did not install Git properly ?

I work with Visual Studio 2017 version 15.9.22 (just updated), .Net 4.8.09761, git version 2.26.0.windows.1

I began posting my script, but ... if the problem has been solved, perhaps that is not very useful ?
