Has it been discontinued? If so, what replaces it?
Company I work for used to be Premier partner but let the membership lapse due to company's ownership change. We were discussing rejoining the program again. One thing we were hoping to get out of it (but not the only one), was to see if we could get a clarification on VS 2019 Isolated Shell future plans. We were also hoping to get priority access support when migrating to VS 2019 Shell, assuming when and if that was gonna be made available.
We are still stuck on VS 2015 Shell here as Microsoft had quietly abandoned VS Shell efforts for VS 2017. With VS Partner Program gone as it seems I see no avenue for former partners such as ourselves that built large products on top of VS Shell to move forward. There are 2 paths remain for us: stay with VS 2015 Shell indefinitely or scrape it and start over with some other product or technology.
I wish Microsoft were more transparent here.
