Hello,
I got myself in a situation where i can't publish project templates inside visual studio template gallery. Here's the history.
1. I got two windows live accounts (one to test and research and one for production)
2. I used the first account to test out the entire process of uploading templates and uploaded my templates to see how it worked.
3. I deleted the templates i uploaded
4. I'm trying to upload the same templates with my actual production account and the gallery won't allow me. Says a VSIX with the same ID already exists on the site. Says that even though in step 3 i deleted all templates.
If it helps, the ID of one of the VSIXes in question is "Infragistics.ASPNET.EnergyDashboardVS2012". I cannot change that because i'm already using it in other apps.
Please let me know if there is a way to upload my actual template and really delete the old one.
