REST API authentication for hosted and self hosted versions

Hi

I'm currently at the start of an integration with TFS and I am investigating how to allow people to authenticate / provide access to their TFS account.

From reading https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/integrate/get-started/auth/oauth the best approach seems to be to use oAuth, however when reading the documentation it says that I should redirect users to https://app.vssps.visualstudio.com/oauth2/authorize which will allow them to provide access.

Now this seems fine if they are using a hosted version of TFS, but what about those users who self host the tool on their own servers? Does TFS self hosted version have its own oAuth endpoint or does it not support oAuth at all and do we have to fallback to basic authentication?

Thanks

Scott
