Printing Code Outputs White Text on Black Highlight

I am a student and I am trying to print my C++ code to turn in. As of the last week, my code has been printing as white text on a black highlight. The rest of the background is still white. I have tried using Tools>Options>Environment>Fonts& Colors to change the 'Printer' options, but this does not affect the actual printed output. I have checked online and have not found any good answers. I have also already tried selecting 'Use Defaults' in the same options environment.I am using Visual Studio 2013 on Windows 7 and 8.
