Is it possible to extend Notification window to show our data Visual Studio 2013

Is it possible to extend the notification window introduced in VS 2013 for our Isolated Shell Application and show our data ? As of now notification window is showing news related to Visual Studio and SDK updates ?

It looks like if we enable Microsoft Galleries in pkgdef file, Visual Studio and MS SDK related news are coming. Is it possible to hide the news ?
