Can I combine a debugger extension and custom project system and MEF editor extensions into a single VSX package

Hi --

I am working on integrating a custom language platform into Visual Studio and am working separately on going through the Project System walkthroughs, the MEF editor extension points, and a debugger extensibility sample.  I need all of these things to interact into a seamless experience for the end user when he or she loads one of my language projects.  I'm not clear whether or not I can code and debug all of these things from a single VSX package.  I really would like to -- especially since I would like to have a number of language support elements loaded on project initialization (like, for example, tool windows that show the state of my virtual machine, or symbol browsing, or expression evaluation, not to mention custom editor support and step debugging).

All of these different things tend to be treated separately in discussions, samples and walkthroughs.  But I would like to have all of them available to be debugged through a single debug session.  Thus it would be nice to launch a single package and be able to debug all these components in a single experimental instance of Visual Studio.

Can anyone share their experiences in doing this.

Thank you.

Mike
