Cannot find the interop type that matches the embedded interop type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsWindowSearch'. Are you missing an assembly reference?

Hi,

Am getting this "Cannot find the interop type that matches the embedded interop type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsWindowSearch'. Are you missing an assembly reference?" error in VS2013 when i tried to migrate the visual studio package project from vs2012 to vs2013.

I tried to fix it by referring the solution provided in this link http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18580239/microsoft-visualstudio-shell-interop-toolwindowpane-class-gives-error-when-compi

If i set the embed introp type to true then it gives "Cannot embed interop types from assembly 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.12.0\v4.0_12.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.12.0.dll' because it is missing either the 'ImportedFromTypeLibAttribute' attribute or the 'PrimaryInteropAssemblyAttribute' attribute" error.

please let us know if there is any solution for this.
