We have an isolated shell application similar to visual studio. This application allows to create projects. This projects will have dependency files (virtual nodes in solution explorer).
And when we search for a specific text in the entire solution , it is not searching in the dependency files.But once we open the dependency file , "Find in files" start searching in dependency files also.
Only first time "Find in files" will not consider the dependency file for the search. But once we open that file, shell will start considering that file. We can even close the application and come again and do the search. Now also "Find in files" will have matches from dependency file.
So , How shell is choosing files from the solution for performing search?
Why shell is not performing search in dependency files initially?
