The directory %USERPROFILE% refers to a network Location, i.e. the StartPages Folder %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Visual Studio 2010\StartPages\ which is supposed to hold the XAML for a customized start pages resides on a network location. However, Visual Studio 2010 does not load this xaml, instead it issues an error:
"Can not load custom Start Page \\company.de\UserFolders\UserName\Documents\Visual Studio 2010\StartPages\CustomStartPage.xaml from a restricted location."
When is the location considered restricted? Is a network location always a restricted location?
Is there any workaround?
